Golf Resorts instead of football for our domestic boys

As the cream of European football gathers in Austria & Switzerland the Premiership’s household names will be starting their summer holidays so don’t be surprised to find more images like this one amongst our daily papers over the next couple of weeks.

With the domestic teams failure to qualify for this years European Championships we can expect to see more of our home grown players adorning the pages outside of the sport’s sections, like Steven Gerrard last week, pictured trying his hand at Karaoke in Monty’s bar in the resort of Vale do Lobo.
