Miss World contestants putting on a show
The Miss World contestants have been put through their putting paces on the Extreme 19th at the Legend Golf & Safari Resort in South Africa.
It proved to be very popular with the contestants, many of whom have only watched the game on TV or played mini-golf.

Miss Finland, Linda Wikstedt, did very well in the nearest the pin putting competition and Miss England, Laura Coleman, who worked at Stapleford Park for four years said: ?I really enjoyed my time on the golf course back home but it didn?t have a setting like this. Certainly no beautiful mountains and such stunning wildlife ? what amazing rough!!?
The 18-hole course at Legend Golf Resort in South Africa has each hole designed individually by a famous professional player, but it is the ‘Extreme 19th Hole’ where the action really hots up. The bonus hole’s tee is perched on the monumental Hanglip Mountain, and the green is a hefty 830 metres away – however, with a vertical drop of 430 metres, it is a reachable par 3! Accessible by helicopter only, the hole is truly extraordinary, but that’s not all – make a hole-in-one and you will receive one million US dollars!
