AT&T National Betting Preview

This week’s PGA Tour event comes from Aronomik Golf Club, Philadelphia and is the AT&T National, played in honour of the US Armed Forces.
The event is organised by world number one Tiger Woods and while the last two years have been played at Congressional, that venue has been put away in preparation of next year’s US Open. Hence, Tiger has elected to move the event to Philadelphia and the 7250-yard, par 70 Aronomik course stages this event for the first time.

This week the European Tour action comes from the excellent Le Golf National course in Paris, France for the Alstom Open de France. With the Open Championship at St Andrews just a few weeks away, the event has drawn a strong field together with four of the top ten players on the Official World Golf Rankings lining up for a share of the highest prize fund in Continental Europe.

On Friday 30th April, 12 friends of Billy, who tragically died of a massive heart attack, whilst sitting in the grandstand at the rear of the 16th green of the Ailsa Course at Turnberry, during last year’s British Open Golf Championship, played for a trophy in his honour on the Ailsa Course. Play in the UK’s largest golf tournament

The UK’s largest amateur golf tournament, The Matchplay Championship, is extending the deadline for entries to its 2010-11 tournament because of unprecedented demand.
Already entries for the tournament, which will be hosting its Grand Final at the Els Club in Dubai, have topped last years by nearly 800 golfers and today organisers announced a seven day extension for entries. Read more

Just a quick note to say thanks for your assistance with booking our North Wales Golf Tour. All 8 of us had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed the golf.
Vale of Llangollen is a great course, extremely picturesque and a real hidden gem. Maesdu was an interesting challenge in the breeze.
