Shell Houston Open Betting Preview

Jason DayThe PGA Tour heads to Texas and the Shell Houston Open this week – the last event before the US Masters. The event takes place over the par-72 Redstone course, and the defending champion is Anthony Kim.

Many players will be using this event as a springboard to the Masters, and the course is traditionally set up to play as close to Augusta National as possible; with large, glass-quick greens, water hazards aplenty, deep bunkers and tree-lined fairways presenting a stern challenge.

Trophee Hassan II Betting Preview

The European Tour heads to Agadir, Morocco this week for the Trophee Hassan II, played at the Golf du Palais Royal and Golf de L’Ocean courses. This is the second staging of the event; last year’s being the inaugural tournament, which was won by Wale’s Rhys Davies.

Both courses are new to the tournament and the Tour, so we have no course form to go on. The Golf du Palais Royal will host the weekend’s play, and is a Robert Trent Jones Snr-designed coastal course.

Almenara Golf Review

Almenara GolfJust wanted to let you know that we had a fantastic time at Almenara, transfer from the Airport to the Hotel was excellent with our driver, Keith, who was English and very informative.

The Hotel Almenara was fabulous with the staff being very helpful and friendly. The hotel itself was superb, the distance from the entrance to the Pro-shop and Caddy Master was all of 50 yards. The views across the golf course from the front of the hotel and from the Golf Club restaurant were simply magnificent. Read more
