We all know that golf is a sport of high stakes. When that three putt on the last green results in your fiver going to your friends, we all know what is involved in the world of money and golf. With this in mind you’ll be thrilled to know that, despite what many consider to be poor season on the course, Tiger Woods still tops the pile of money making golfers in the Forbes Top 100 Sports List. Woods has however dropped off the rankings slightly losing his top spot to Floyd Mayweather who pocketed a cool $85 million. Either Tiger will need to start improving his golf game or Mayweather is going to have to start losing some fights!
So, here are the golfers who feature in the list. Most impressive is Ernie Els who has clearly been making more birdies off the course than on with a staggering $16 million bought in as a result of his successful golf course design company and many other business ventures.
