London Marathon Seve 4As you may know Your Golf Travel founders Ross Marshall and Andrew Harding are running the London Marathon in aid of the Seve Ballesteros Foundation and Cancer Research UK. With the big day looming large and just over two weeks away, the YGT boys thought it would be sensible to test their mettle by running the Reading Half Marathon on the 1st of April. masters-meltdownWith the best golfers in the world facing the challenge of the Augusta National over the weekend, golf fans around the world were glued to their screens for what was meant to be an epic battle between Woods, McIlroy and Donald. Alas, all three of these great players had a disappointing time of it, and we had a 14th consecutive first time major winner in Bubba Watson.

With so much golfing talent on show, there were some incredible moments, with Sunday alone seeing Bo Van Pelt just one shot off the course record with a 64, Adam Scott following up a hole in one on 16 with a chip in on 17 and of course Louis Oosthuizen hitting only the fourth ever albatross at Augusta on the 2nd hole.

However, in amongst this golfing mastery were a few moments that showed even the world’s elite players are still capable of some truly shocking moments that wouldn’t look out of place amongst us mere mortals enjoying our weekend round. Read more
