Visit Scotland launch Gleneagles mini-game challenge

Gleneagles mini-game by Visit ScotlandWith Gleneagles due to host the 2014 Ryder Cup, Scottish tourist industry body Visit Scotland are banging the drum to build up awareness and support for the event.

To help do this and celebrate Gleneagles being awarded the prestigious event, Visit Scotland has created a mini-game which lets players tee off from each of the first four holes of the PGA Centenary Course in an attempt to score enough points to make it onto the leaderboard.

GeoPlay Golf: Play golf anywhere via iPhone

Fancy a round of golf but are stuck in town? Well, this new iPhone application could provide the perfect solution.

Developed by 10 and 2 Studios in conjunction with Trilight Studios, GeoPlay Golf uses the iPhone’s GPS to construct a virtual golf course from real-world data. Players can plan out a full virtual golf course around their own neighbourhood, park or commute to school or work.
