I’ve just back from a great trip to Bournemouth and wanted to say a quick thank you to Your Golf Travel and their team for organising such a good golf break for me and my golf society. Having not really known Bournemouth as a great golfing destination I was really pleased with the level of golf on offer, the accommodation and the nightlife.

MacDonald Aviemore Golf Resort
I’ve just returned from a golf break to MacDonald Aviemore and thought I’d let you know about my golf review. The scenary of Aviemore is simply sensational, hard to believe that views are available like this in the UK, to put a golf course here makes it very special indeed.
The hotel accommodation was very plush and extremely comfortable. The rooms were first class and in a great location with only a short distance into the centre of town. The hotel benefits from a range of leisure facilities and can recommend it for anyone looking for a high quality golf break.
MacDonald Aviemore has a fantastic, outstanding and stunning (there are few superlatives that come close) golf course on site in Spey Valley. The course was also in superb condition, the fairways like carpet and the greens as smooth as snooker tables! In trying to ensure I didn’t hit any divots I ensured I kept my ball well away from the fairways and greens – or maybe that was just to do with my poor golf
! The club also runs you in a courtesy car down to the course to give it a really high end feel, the course more than does this justice in terms of layout and condition.
In short anyone considering a break to this part of Scotland should definitely consider Aviemore as an option, it was my first trip and will be returning in the not too distant future.
Yourgolftravel has Scotland golf breaks at MacDonald Aviemore starting from just £79 per person.
