How does it work?
Essentially, you (the affiliate) will advertise Your Golf Travel site on your own site. There are various methods you may use to do this, some examples are:

• A text link to the Your Golf Travel home page
• A Your Golf Travel logo linking to the home page including a short description of our services
• A banner advert (various sizes available)
• Use of the Your Golf Travel product feed, which contains all of our deals each linking to the relevant offer page on our website
• Building and featuring a widget to host a restricted selection of deals

The clicks that occur from your adverts are recorded, a piece of code called a “cookie” is dropped on the users machine, and if they subsequently then make a booking or an enquiry this will be logged in your affiliate account. Once we have checked the bookings/enquiries we will then validate the commission, you will be paid for all confirmed sales (not for cancellations/fraudulent sales).

How do I join?
Our programme is run using Affiliate Window technology, so initially you will need to apply to the network and become an affiliate. You can do so by filling out the form here: Sign up

Note - Affiliate Window are working to discourage unscrupulous affiliates that operate in an unethical fashion, for this reason you will be required to verify your name and address by making a £5 payment by credit or debit card. This is credited directly to your new affiliate account once it is activated.

Once you have your Affiliate Window ID and are active, login to your account and then apply to the Your Golf Travel programme by following this link: Join now

You will then be accepted onto the programme and able to access links and creative to advertise Your Golf Travel on your website.

Commission Groups explained...
The Your Golf Travel programme has two commission groups; one for an online booking and one for an online enquiry.

Online Bookings – When a booking is made by a customer referred from your affiliate link/s a commission rate of 3% of the total golf break value is applied. The commission will remain pending until the booking is confirmed as completed (was not cancelled).

Online Enquiry – Golf breaks can be complicated to organise due to the volume of golfers and necessary arrangements for tee off times. As customers prefer to enquire first and discuss their requirements with an operator, in order to maximise affiliate conversion rates the enquiry form is still available for customers to use.

For a completed enquiry, you will see it reported within your Affiliate window account as a count of “1” (value of £1), and a commission value of £0.00. Once the Your Golf Travel team have converted the enquiry to a confirmed booking a manual commission will be applied to your account. This will also be 3% of the total value of the break.

Cookie Length
The cookie length is 60 days. This means that if you send a user to the Your Golf Travel site, they browse but go away, should they return and make a booking or an enquiry within 60 days you will still receive commission for a confirmed sale.
