Established in 1907 as a 9 hole course, extended to 18 in 1995, the undulating parkland layout of Alnwick offers stunning views of the surrounding countryside, taking in such sights as the 14th Century Alnwick Castle.

As well as the stunning views, the course offers some great holes including the signature 12th hole 'Lang Whang', a par 5 dog-leg to the left where the brave try to drive over the corner bunkers to be in with a chance of reaching the green in two.
Alnwick is a little over 6,200 yards from the back tees, negotiating a great mix of par threes, fours and fives, with many natural hazards providing a great test of golf as part of a tour of Northumberland.
