The golf course at Arbroath was laid out by the esteemed Old Tom Morris in 1876, and it remains a true Angus favourite to this day. In 1907, Willie Fernie was commissioned to redesign the golf course, and with James Braid’s revision of the bunkering in 1931, the course as it is today was complete.

Arbroath is a traditional links course, whose character is inherently tied to the nature of the conditions. The fairways are punctuated by the classic coastal humps and hollows, while the small and subtle greens are guarded by devilish bunkers.
