Designed initially by Willie Park Junior for the course opening in 1893 and subsequently revised by the great James Braid, Baberton is among the best established of Edinburgh's city centre clubs, and with its convenient location is a superb option for golf tour groups in the Scottish capital.

The championship heathland course is a good challenge, spanning a lovely area of undulating land within a few minutes of the city centre. Views of the Forth Bridges, Arthur's Seat and Edinburgh Castle are among the highlights of the golf experience, while players will be tested by Baberton's beautiful traditional layout.
The front nine is slightly shorter and requires accuracy from the tee for good scoring, while the back nine stretches further but arguably presents better birdie opportunities. A warm welcome is assured at Baberton, a great choice for Edinburgh golf tour groups.
