The hotel at Bagni di Pisa is one of the most famous landmarks in Tuscany, boasting a rich history. In 1743, the Grand Duke of Tuscany made Bagni di Pisa his summer retreat, and the hotel that is now housed in the 18th century mansion has not lost any of the original grandeur.

All of the period feature shave been tastefully restored and retained, making Bagni de Pisa a fascinating and distinctive destination. Some bedrooms have vaulted frescoed ceilings, while all feature retractable plasma screen televisions, air-conditioning, marble floors and luxurious bathrooms.

The site is also famous for its luxurious spa, and as such is a superb high class option for groups including non-golfers.

At the foot of Mount San Giuliano, mineral rich water, valuable for its healing and soothing qualities, rises to the surface and forms the inspiration for the spa and wellness centre at the Bagni di Pisa. Choose from relaxing day packages or a fantastic range of indulgent individual treatments. The hotel also has a lovely outdoor swimming pool and a sauna.

The hotel's Dei Lorena Restaurant's menu is based on the classical regional recipes that were popular in the Grand Duke of Tuscany's 18th century era.

There are few more splendid bars in Italy; enjoy a drink and a cigar under the magnificent frescoes, which date back to the early 1800s.
