The Beach Palace Wyndham Grand Resort enjoys a beautiful position which, as you might have guessed from its name, is situated adjacent to a stretch of stunning white sand beach.
The rooms come with balconies and sea or lagoon views. All are very spacious, with light woods and contemporary touches such as recessed lighting, flat screen satellite TV and Jacuzzi. There's also a turndown service, mini-bar containing sodas, bottled water and domestic beer, purified water, Farouk bath amenities, bathrobes and slippers, digital safe, individually controlled air conditioning, coffee maker, and direct dial telephone. Room service is also offered 24 hours a day.
The eating options are plentiful, with four distinctive restaurants - Italian, Mexican, International and Oriental - providing variety as well as quantity. There is a fitness centre for the health-conscious and spa facilities where you can enjoy that relaxing massage, or you can sun yourself by the pool, sipping a refreshing drink after a hard day on the links.
The courses around Cancun are high quality to say the least, their credits reading like a "Who's Who" of the world's best course designers. Jack Nicklaus is responsible for the superb layouts at Moon Palace, Riviera Cancun, Cozumel and Mayan Palace, while Greg Norman penned El Cameleon Mayakoba and Playa Mujeres, and Robert Trent Jones Jr was the architect for Pok Ta Pok. Other celebrated designers with courses in the area include PB Dye, Robert Trent Jones II and Robert Von Hagge.
