BOCA RATON RESORT

Central to the golfing experience at Boca Raton are the two tremendous courses; the starting point is the majestic Resort Course, one of Florida's ‘golden age' layouts, and once attached to touring pros Sam Snead and Tommy Armour. The par-71 layout is not overly exacting, but the mature design makes it a hugely enjoyable experience.

Less well established but equally enjoyable is the Country Club Course, a par-72 of better than 6,500 yards that is best known for the signature island green of the closing hole.

There are a number of different accommodation room types at Boca Raton, differing somewhat in style but all designed and decorated in a superb fashion.

The Cloister, designed in 1926, is the instantly recognisable historic part of Boca, with the inimitable frontage of Mizner's creation. Here, guests can enjoy the unique Spanish-Mediterranean charm fused with luxury fixtures and furnishings.

In the Tower, overlooking the golf course and the Intracoastal Waterway, are excellent modern bedrooms that feature luxury marble bathrooms, while the newest addition is the Yacht Club, reminiscent of a Venetian palace and home to 112 splendid rooms.

Guests can also select the Boca Bungalows, which are more secluded, located along the fringes of the golf course for increased privacy.

The endless resort facilities are too long to list, but certain highlights are the Spa Palazzo, a deluxe spa centre offering amazing treatments, and the culinary landscape at Boca, where a huge number of outstanding restaurants await your discovery.
