Split in two by the Girvan Water, the golf course measures in excess of 6,800 yards, making it substantial enough to pose problems for the best golfers, without ever being unmanageable for the average visitor.

The rolling undulations are perfect for golf, and although the Ayrshire is known for its wealth of seaside courses, there is room in any golf tour for some charming parkland play.
