Cancun Palace

Cancun Palace

If location is everything, then Cancún Palace very nearly has it all. Flanked by the Caribbean Sea on one side and the Nichupte Lagoon on the other, the property is just a short stroll from Cancun's main attractions and a couple of miles or so away from some of the world class golf courses that have sprung up in this area.

Hmm, something went wrong... would you mind trying again?

Cancun Palace is a luxurious haven that delivers a superb all-inclusive experience where the majority of meals and activities are included in the room rate. This large hotel has beautifully appointed guestrooms displaying ocean or lagoon views from private balconies. The luxury is piled on, with in-room Jacuzzis, marble bathrooms, wireless Internet access, flat screen LCD TVs with satellite, turndown service, drink dispensers, and bathrobes and slippers.

A wide choice of cuisine is on offer at the Cancun Palace's five restaurants, ranging from Mexican, International, Oriental and Italian fares. Snack and pool bars and 24-hour in room dining add to the possibilities for meals and refreshments.

Recreational facilities include a spa, an outdoor pool, tennis court, and fitness centre. AquaWorld, an independently operated marina located half a mile away on Nichupté Lagoon offers a variety of water sports, including parasailing, personal watercraft, sailing, windsurfing, fishing, scuba diving, and snorkelling. These are not part of the hotel's all-inclusive plan, though, and must be paid for separately.

Golf is not part of the plan either, but it's well worth the extra spend.  You won't find much better in terms of quality or quantity anywhere. The region is blessed with courses designed by Jack Nicklaus, including Moon Palace, Cozumel and Mayan Palace, in addition to Greg Norman's El Cameleon Mayakoba and Rober Trent Jones Jr's Pok Ta Pok, to name but a few. This is one of the most popular golf tourist spots in the Americas, and it's easy to see why.
