It may be a bit remote, but it is well worthwhile visiting Cardigan, with the quality of the course being recognised by the Welsh Golf Union, who have chosen to stage both national and international events there.
Spectacular views are a feature here, from almost every point, and the tricky championship course will challenge even the best, especially in the summer when the turf becomes dry and hard.
The beautiful array of colour from the banks of gorse and bluebells makes spring a good time to visit, but throughout the year an excellent and enjoyable test of golf awaits at Cardigan.
