Designed by Alberto Sola, the 18-hole layout measures 6,650 yards at its peak, with a par of 72 that is a good test. Caribe is essentially a resort course, and there are tees that allow golfers of all abilities to enjoy an appropriate yardage, but everyone will have to negotiate the huge expanses of water that border many holes and even surround some greens.
Easy access from both of the Catalonia hotels, and the partnership that ensures that guests benefit from preferential access, make the Caribe Golf Club and its excellent course a certain highlight of any golf holiday in the Punta Cana area of the Dominican Republic.
