Opened in 1989, the Chateau Course measures 7,030 yards, andwas awarded four stars by the highly regarded Golf Digest review. The layout was conceived by Denis Griffiths, whosedesign incorporates a number of streams and three lakes.
Spanning the humps and hollows of the splendid Georgianterrain, the course is a joy to behold, and provides a greatly enjoyablechallenge for all visitors.
Although it is somewhat shorter – 6,735 yards – the WoodlandsCourse was awarded 4.5 stars in the same GolfDigest review, and is a hugely rewarding test. Rolling hills and a numberof blind drives characterise the course, which was opened in 1996, and isconsidered by many to be the resort’s most spectacular.
