Although Clevedon Golf Club was formed in 1891, golf has been played on the current site since 1898. Starting in the early 1990s the course saw some major changes with the introduction of five new holes, and the construction of 18 U.S.G.A. specifications greens to meet the demands of golf into the 21st century.
The front nine offers spectacular views as the course stretches along the Severn Estuary before dropping down into the valley. The back nine continues the parkland feel as it prepares you for the challenge of our signature Castle Hole, the 16h. With the tee over 200 feet above the fairway, you can savour the views of both the coastline of the Bristol Channel and the Mendip Hills as you consider your next shot. You then climb back up for the final two holes which are set along the coastline providing splendid views of both Severn Crossings.
The welcoming atmosphere of the Grade 2 Listed clubhouse ensures the perfect finish to your round at Clevedon. Originally a farmhouse, the club now consists of recently refurbished changing rooms, and comfortable bars and restaurant areas.
