Copt Heath is just a few minutes from the heart of Birmingham, and is a renowned members club with a first class golf course. Founded in 1907, the club originally sought the help of the great Harry Vardon in creating the course, which was subsequently revised by the esteemed Harry S. Colt. With these great signatures, it is little surprise that Copt Heath is held in such high regard.

Prestigious national events are frequently held at Copt Heath, including the Peter McEvoy Trophy, named after the club’s most notable member. This high profile junior tournament has produced winners including Justin Rose, Lee Westwood and Brian Davis.
Copt Heath is best described as a blend of parkland and heathland golf, and its free draining soil makes it playable the year round. The mature layout is a joy to behold, and its 6,528 yards are extremely testing. Without doubt among the region’s best, Copt Heath is a fine addition to any golf tour around the city of Birmingham.
