Upon arriving at the Costa Navarino Resort our first experience was to be upgraded for free to a luxurious room with sea views and our own private pool...not a shabby start to a golf holiday! The room was amazing and it had probably the most comfortable bed I have ever had the pleasure of sleeping in! The hotel was a peaceful place during the week and livened up over the weekend. The white sandy beach was only 100 yards from our rooms and the staff all over the resort were hospitable and charming. We had hired a car and as such felt we should explore the local area. This meant eating away from the resort and we found numerous restaurants where we enjoyed terrific meals. We also visited local attractions and historic sites during our time away from the golf course. Everything on offer at the Costa Navarino Resort compliments the golf course and I can say it is a fantastic venue for a golf break.
The golf course was empty so every round we played was extremely relaxing and enjoyable. We were given free buggies all week because there was work being done on the greens...another example of the top class service on offer on the resort. The golf course was lovely. It wasn’t too tight and the main defence came from the wind that rolled in from the sea.
I would rate the place a 9 out of 10 for what we wanted from our golf holiday. We have previously been on a golf trip to Aphrodite Hills and while this place was a tad more expensive it had an extra touch of class. Thoroughly recommended.
