The golf club at Timmedorfer Strand is home to the first 36-hole complex to be completed in the northern region of Schleswig-Holstein, designed by the internationally-renowned golf architect, Dr. Bernhard von Limburger.
North Course
The North Course is the highlight of Timmendorfer Strand, and is a demanding parkland layout, taking full advantage of the coastal breezes and sandy turf that make the landscape special. From the championship tee markers, the North can be stretched to a formidable 6,915 yards, but the fairways are relatively forgiving, allowing visiting golfers to cut loose with the driver. Look out for the firm and fast greens during the summer months.
South Course
Timmendorfer’s South Course is a short academy course, with 18 distinct holes that are ideal for novices and beginners, or just those who fancy a relaxing round. There are 11 par-3s in the layout, which is stretched around the banks of the Oeverdieker See lake, and is maintained to the same immaculate standard as the main North Course.
The welcoming and comfortable hotel is situated a short walk from the centre of Timmendorfer Strand and within 50 metres of the beach. The accommodation is comprised of 93 spacious bedrooms, all of which come complete with mini-bar, television and a separate seating area.
