Cradoc Golf Club overlooks the outstanding and unspoiled natural beauty of the Brecon Beacons National Park on the northern side of the Usk Valley and it is blessed with an 18-hole parkland course that lives up to the scenery surrounding it.

Have no doubt, this is one of Wales' premier golf clubs, not just for its stunning scenery, but because of the quality of its golf course, designed by CK Cotton, that was recognised as one of the finest in the region when named Wales' Golf Club of the Year in 2005. The mature tree lined fairways and occasional water hazard help to provide golfers with a challenging yet entertaining test of golf. Three holes, the 7th, 8th and 9th, have recently been remodelled to eliminate a strenuous climb, so that the current 6,188-yard course is a pleasant walk.
Founded in 1967, just a couple of miles from the bustling historic market town of Brecon, it certainly isn't remote, but it is hard to think of anywhere so far from the madding crowd that is so accessible from the main population centres of both Wales and Southern England.
In only 45 minutes you can be at Celtic Manor, the home of the 2010 Ryder Cup, and the club is also very easily accessible to South Wales, the Midlands, and South West England.
Cradoc Golf Club has a modern clubhouse with a comfortable lounge area with a bar offering a range of quality beers, ciders and wines. There's also a 70 cover restaurant offering freshly cooked food and welcomes all golfing parties.
There's also a 10 bay floodlit driving range, practice ground, chipping green, bunkers and putting green for use by members and visitors alike.
