We had an excellent golf holiday in Vilamoura and would like to thank Your Golf Travel for the excellent service and value for money that you provided.
This was our first golf tour of the area and will definitely not be the last time we go on a golf break to Vilamoura. We have previously visited Albufeira and Montechoro which involved me hiring a minibus at the airport and navigating our way around the various courses we played. The beauty about this trip to Vilamoura was the efficient organisation from being picked up at the airport and taken directly to the hotel and the minibuses provided by the hotel to take us to and from the courses. The fact that we didn’t have to do organise anything or do any driving made the whole experience much more enjoyable.
The hotel itself was ideal for our purposes and I would say is perfect for golfers on a golf break in Portugal. The bag drop made everything easy as there was no lugging our clubs up and down from our rooms. The rooms were perfectly adequate and the daily breakfast was decent and there was plenty of choice.
The golf courses we played were all in excellent condition even accounting for the fact that some of the greens had been top-dressed. The Victoria course and the Old course were the stand out courses and I reserve particular praise for them. The Pinhal and Millennium courses were also a good test and required distance and accuracy. All of the courses offer something different and they are all really enjoyable courses to play.
We were a little worried that the costs of eating and drinking would be exorbitant in a golf resort of this quality, but found a wide selection of good quality restaurants that turned out to be very fairly priced. As far as the service we received from Your Golf Travel is concerned, I would be more than happy to recommend you to anyone I know going on a golf tour or golf holiday in Portugal. Your service was excellent and we found you to be efficient and courteous.
