I'd like to thank you for organising the Portugal trip, it was amazing !!! Both the Dom Pedro Golf Hotel and the golf courses were extremely good, everyone was really friendly and Vilamoura itself is a great place to go out in the evening, the food was brilliant as was the entertainment.... We will be going back there next year without doubt, maybe even again this year funds permitting !!!!

We had a great weekend golf break in the Algarve in May and wanted to leave some feedback for everyone at Your Golf Travel.
This was our second golf trip to Vilamoura and this one was equally as good as the previous trip. We stayed in the same accommodation but this time we played more of the surrounding golf courses.
The Oceanico Pinhal course was a very mature course that seemed to reward the straighter hitters in the group. The umbrella pines that marshal the fairways are very penal and your ball can even remain stuck in the branches if you get enough bad luck! The opening par 5 is gives you a chance of an early birdie but from then on the front nine demands accuracy and length to score well. The back nine was decidedly easier only the monstrous 13th providing a stern challenge. Most of our group play off 18-24 and they found the course to be challenging but enjoyable.
We played the Laguna course for our second round and we found this to be a bit easier than the Pinhal. There are water hazards everywhere though so avoiding them is a must. We loved the 17th hole which left us with a positive memory for the day when two out of my group holed putts for birdie! The holes from 11 to 15 provide the main defence to this course and if you can negotiate these safely you should be in for a good score.
The Millennium course was the easiest of the three in our opinion thanks to more generous fairways. The holes from 3 to 7 are fairly tight but on the other holes there is lots of margin for error.
The condition of all three courses was superb. The greens were smooth and fast and the fairways and bunkers were perfectly presented. There were a couple of greens that had been hollow cored but I understand that green keepers have to see the long term picture that many golfers fail to understand.
We returned to the Dom Pedro Golf Hotel for our accommodation as we enjoyed it immensely the first time around. The staff in this hotel are great; very friendly and always willing to go the extra mile for guests.
The package we bought from Your Golf Travel included transfers to and from the airport and from the apartment to the golf courses. These were always on time and made the golf holiday so much more relaxing so thank you for the great organisation!
Dealing with Your Golf Travel is so easy and this was our fourth trip with you guys. We had an issue with the booking of a buggy but a quick phone call to YGT and it was sorted within minutes. Everything else went off without a hitch and as always the value for money is simply unbeatable. I will always recommend YGT, in fact we have already booked another golf holiday with you since returning!

Well firstly the service Your Golf Travel gave was excellent; they were very accommodating with the various changes. Their recommendation about "clubtohire" was great and it saved us having to lug our own clubs on the trip.
The transfer to and from the airport work well and they were on time. The hotel was different to the one requested but the Dom Pedro Golf is fairly similar to the Dom Pedro Marina and therefore not a problem. The hotel itself was very nice and majority of the staff were very friendly. It was easy to arrange the transfer to and from each of the golf course and the driver were great fun. The 3 courses that we played, Millennium, Laguna and Pinhal were all in good shape and they flowed really well. My favourite was Pinhal, tough, challenging and beautiful. All in all we had a great trip and would recommend yourgolftravel.com to anyone who loves golf and value for money.
