Riviera Golf de Barbossi

The Riviera Golf Barbossi is among the finest golf courses in the Côte d'Azur. Designed by renowned American architect Robert Trent Jones Sr, this fantastic 18 hole Par 71 layout offers a fine test of golf to the scratch player and handicap golfer alike. Surrounded by the rolling hills of the region, Riviera Golf Barbossi enjoys a stunning setting and, rather unusually, it features modern sculptures that adorn the course at every turn making a round here a most unique experience.

The course is relatively short by modern standards, measuring in at under 6,000 yards from the tips, but Riviera is not without its defences. Undulating terrain calls for good course management and fantastic greenside bunkering, several tight driving holes and frequent water hazards demand accuracy and shot making from start to finish.

Accommodation at Domaine de Barbossi

The resort’s hotel, Ermitage du Riou, offers guests a fantastic four-star accommodation option set amidst the Bay of Cannes, Port of La Napoule and the Lerins Islands. A peaceful and charming hotel, Ermitage du Riou boasts just 36 guestrooms and suites but that simply relates to finer attention to detail and unrivalled service. Each accommodation is charming and well equipped, featuring private balconies that offer intoxicating river and sea views, air conditioning, complimentary hi-speed internet access and flat-screen TVs.

The hotel’s restaurant, La Table du Riou, offers diners a taste of the Mediterranean accompanied by fine wines and stunning views over the river and Bay of Cannes.
