Thought I should let you know we went last weekend and had a great time - the hotel was really good value and the golf was very good as well , the course was great. I would recommend the venue to anyone. Thanks for all your help. Regards,
Draycote Hotel & Whitefields Golf Course
The Draycote Hotel offers visitors the best of both worlds, being situated in the heart of the beautiful Warwickshire countryside, while also being easily accessible via the Midlands motorway network.
Despite only coming into existence in 1992, the Whitefields Golf Course has matured well into a testing parkland proposition. At 6,289 yards, length is not the main issue, but there are many holes with little margin for error, and severe penalties are guaranteed for wayward striking.

Whitefields Golf Course
One of the main benefits at Whitefields is the excellent natural drainage, which ensures that the course can remain open throughout the year, and also that the putting surfaces will roll true. The main focal point is Draycote Water, part of the neighbouring Country Park, which has welcomed many a wayward approach shot to the nerve-racking 13th green.
The 13th and 15th holes are the favourites of many visitors, although some will find their stock of golf balls somewhat diminished by the time they have negotiated the island green of the par-3 13th. Whitefields also boasts an 18-bay driving range, in addition to the excellent facilities for practicing the short game.
The signature hole at Whitefields is the 15th, named ‘Temptation'. Golfers can choose to challenge the 257 yards between tee and green, but water awaits on both sides of the fairway.
The facility has been purposefully designed to create a light, contemporary environment, and a relaxed atmosphere, guaranteed to make visitors feel entirely relaxed. The 49 en-suite guest rooms are spacious, and equipped with excellent amenities including satellite television and internet access. There is complimentary parking on site, while the hotel also has a licence to host civil ceremonies.
The attentive service and superb facilities to be found at the Draycote make it a great choice for your golf break in the West Midlands.
Guests at the Draycote can take advantage of the well-equipped gymnasium for a serious work-out.
Papaveri's Restaurant serves superb Italian and English cuisine, and is famed for its Sunday roast and the “Fairways Bar” offers the chance to enjoy your favourite tipple whilst watching the latest sports coverage on the large flat screen television.

Excellent weekend, everyone thanked me so I thought it only fair to thank you. They want to go abroad next time. Hope you will be able to sort that out for me. All the best,
The weekend golf break at Draycote Hotel was a success we loved the hotel and the course. Brilliant thanks,
Just a brief note to thank you for all your assistance in my recent one night stay at the Draycote Hotel. The hotel was friendly and hospitable and the golf course was excellent considering the time of the year. Thanking you in advance of your continued assistance.
Just got back from our golf break, great time and on some good courses, Whitefields was in good nick, both courses at the Warwickshire were top drawer, Ingon Manor was excellent and the hotel was really nice as well. Thanks for your help we will use your services again.
I would just like to say a big thank you for a superb golf weekend we have just had. It is the first trip we have had for our golf and I can assure you not our last with you. I would like to say a big thank you for all your hard work you put into these arrangements. The whole of my group enjoyed it immensely.
Thank you to YGC for arranging an excellent two days for me and a friend over from Dubai. The whole booking process was easy and efficient. The venue was excellent and the golf suberb! The staff there were very friendly and the course in very good condition. The food and accommodation was very good making the whole trip excellent value for money! Regards,
I booked a golf break for myself and three of my golfing buddies at the Draycote Hotel & Whitefields Golf Course and wanted to leave some feedback.
The golf course was good and we all enjoyed the challenge of this interesting layout. There was a range of handicaps and we all enjoyed it so I would imagine this course is suitable for all golfers to have a crack. The greens were in excellent condition although the course was a little rough around the edges.
The clubhouse was part of the hotel so wasn’t very “golfy” but we received a warm welcome nonetheless and the food was good. The breakfast the next morning was also excellent and much needed for the day’s golf ahead.
The venue was good without being outstanding and dealing with Your Golf Travel was a pleasure. I will certainly book another golf holiday with you.
Many thanks for organising our recent golf break to the Draycote Hotel & Whitefields Golf Course. I felt there was a lot of personal care that went into the golf trip and my whole experience with Your Golf Travel was a delight.
The golf course was in superb condition and our rounds of golf were a real delight. Like many before us we picked the 13th hole as a particular highlight and surprisingly none of us lost a golf ball...not on this hole anyway.
The hotel was stylish and comfortable and thanks to the friendly staff it was a real pleasure to stay here. The food and drink were fairly priced and our meal in Papaveri’s Restaurant was simply outstanding.
I have recommended Your Golf Travel already and will be returning to book future golf breaks with you. Keep the deals coming!
We had a very enjoyable golf break at the Draycote hotel.
The staff were all very friendly and helpful, the golf course was good and so was the hotel. Unfortunately the restaurant and bar area lacked a bit of atmosphere so we went to a local pub for an evening drink which was great. Due to the recent weather conditions the golf course was very dry but we found the layout very enjoyable with us needing to use good course management on our second round. We thought our golf break was superb value for money and would recommend both Your Golf Travel and Draycote to other golfers.
We will be booking another golf break before the end of 2011 and we will be in touch soon to do so.
Thanks for organising a great short golf break at Draycote. The hotel, food, staff and golf were first class and the price amazing. The weather was also hot!! Top marks for our weekend golf break.
Just a few notes on out golf break at Draycote and Whitefields.
The hotel was comfortable, stylish and had a very welcoming, relaxed atmosphere which really put us at ease. Papaveri’s Restaurant was excellent and we particularly enjoyed the Sunday Roast; it was delicious. The guestrooms were excellent as well; very comfortable with plenty of modern touches to keep you entertained. Considering what we paid for our golf break we could afford to spend a little extra in the hotel which was fun!
The condition of the Whitefields golf course was excellent and the greens were rolling particularly true. Make sure to bring plenty of golf balls if you aren’t the straightest hitter from the tee as there are plenty of opportunities to lose balls; especially at the par 3 13th which has an island green.
All things considered our weekend golf break at Draycote was superb and we are still trying to work out how it costs us so little!
My wife and I have just returned from our golf break at the Draycote Hotel and Whitefields Golf Club. We booked the one night 2 rounds of golf package which is great value for money. We arrived a little early for our tee time on the first day, but were told to tee off as it was quiet at the time. We were prepared for winter golf, and with that in mind we were pleasantly surprised at the condition of the course and particularly the greens. There is a great variety of golf holes here, with no up and down fairway after fairway as every hole is different. Some short holes, some long holes and tricky par 3's too.
We checked in and went to our room which was clean, bright and with very comfy beds. Dinner was another lovely surprise. It was included in the price of the golf break and as such we weren’t expecting too much. The portions weren’t huge but they were sufficient and the quality of the food is excellent. Drinks were of an average price for hotels at £14 for a bottle of wine. After a good night’s sleep we had a full English which set us up for the 2nd day’s golf. The course was much busier on day 2 and we teed off about 10 minutes late but were let through on 3 occasions...nice to see some etiquette for a change!
This was a fabulous mini break, the staff were friendly, the hotel was good, food was great and the golf...highly recommended! We got great service from YGT...easy to book, great personal treatment, made to feel special, will be back!
We had a great time on our golf break to the Draycote Hotel and Whitefields Golf Course. My guests had travelled from the north and we went up from Hertfordshire...we thought the location was ideal so thanks for the recommendation!
We enjoyed the layout of the course especially the12th,13th, 15th and 16th holes and thought the condition was superb considering the time of the year we played it. Overall we thought the package to be superb value and as usual the service from YGT was outstanding.
The Hotel had a nice relaxing atmosphere, the staff were attentive and the food was excellent. All in all a solid 8 out of 10!I will carry on recommending YGT to all of my golfing friends!
Just back from our golf break to Draycote Hotel and wanted to give you our quick review. We had a mixed group from pretty much beginner to mid handicappers, the layout is good and varied not to hilly and was in good condition although was not on the tee boxes for our 1st round but moved on to them by the 2nd. Pro shop staff and the range where both very good.
The bar was very nice area and the guys working the bar where very friendly and helpful. The food was very nice we swapped from the set menu to the normal restaurant menu for more choice, breakfast was great, soaked up a couple of pints. The deal was well worth the money the room was comfortable and we all slept well. All the staff where very welcoming and helpful. It is difficult to rate as I have never been away on a golf trip like this but I would give my experience a 10/10 as I could not fault the course/hotel/value for money!!!
I would recommend a visit to the Draycote and Whitefields to anyone looking for a fun value trip, we all enjoyed and are looking to return at some point.
We had a very enjoyable trip down to Warwickshire and the Draycote Hotel was easy to find. We had a great welcome at the hotel and the Whitefields golf course with both being helpful on timings. The course was just recovering from heavy rain in the previous weeks so the course was probably not at its best, but it was still very good. The layout is quite reasonable for the available acreage. The hotel was good value. The evening meal was good especially the sticky toffee pudding! Overall good value for money and probably a good stopping off point for trips further south. We have recommended YourGolfTravel to our friends and have also been off on trips as a group of four.
My party of four booked an overnight Sunday/Monday golf break to Draycote Hotel & Whitefields Golf Course. At the price offered this was opportunity not to miss. We arrived in glorious sunshine to take to the course and were not disappointed.
The course itself was in very good condition. Although not particularly long, most holes gave you something to thinks about, with a couple of very tricky greens. There were a couple of temporary tee boxes due to badger damage but this did not detract too much from the overall condition. A criticism would be that the course was overbooked, we were waiting on most tees and there was always someone waiting behind us too.
The hotel served its purpose, the rooms were basic and the food was ok, the only issue being that we arrived on a Sunday and as they were offering a carvery a vegetarian member of our group had a limited choice, the hotel staff did their best to accommodate though.
The staff were friendly but given that the hotel seems to rely on the golf guests I feel they could do more. The Clubhouse/golf bar is basic and quite small. Knowing that not much choice is available near, the hotel charge an absolute premium for drinks which rely subtracts from the experience.
All in all for the price paid it was worth the money. We booked through Your Golf Travel. The service I received was excellent and along with all our booking needs. I will definitely use them again.
An overall rating for the golf course and hotel would be 6/10. This is lower due to the hotel rather than the actual golf course.
Just wanted to say thank you to YGT for making the booking for our golf break at Draycote Hotel & Whitefields Golf Course it was so easy and simple! This was the first time I’d booked something like this and their prompt response’s and helpfulness made things so much easier. Their help was greatly appreciated, so thank you to them for arranging everything for us and making the weekend a success! I will definitely be recommending YGT to other people for future bookings.
The course was of a very good standard and well looked after, and as most of our group hadn’t been playing golf for very long, we found it challenging in parts and thought it was a great course to play to test our abilities. We’ll definitely be going there again!
The hotel was very nice and easy to find, and we all had a nice night’s sleep after a few beers after the first day! The staff were friendly enough and the food was exceptional, and overall, the whole weekend was fantastic value for money and I would rate it as 10/10!
So, thanks again to YGT for everything, and I look forwarding to booking again with them in the future.
