The North Downs near the western end of the Forest of Windsor set the stage for East Berkshire, which was designed by Peter Paxton. Heather and the natural water courses are among the natural features of the terrain used by the architect to formulate a beautiful and challenging layout.
Many high profile events have been staged at East Berkshire, whose course has also welcomed some of the world’s premier professionals – Sandy Lyle and Luke Donald are among the many admirers.
In the shadow of the mature country woodland, this is a real golfing gem, and one that is sure to be enjoyed during your next Berkshire golf tour.
