EMERALD GOLF CLUB

The 18-hole world-class design is carved through a pristine rain forest of full-grown trees that still provide sanctuary to a variety of native birds. The gentle, rolling contours of the fairways, the volcanic-like greens and the subtle water placements all combine to make the Emerald one the most challenging golf courses in Thailand.

The par-72 course can be stretched to  7,134 yards but most players will use tees that reduce that to 6,500 yards or so. The layout is set into the mountains just outside Rayong and near Pattaya, nestling amongst meandering hillsides and it has some of the most beautifully designed holes in Thailand. The 18-hole course enjoys a mature feel and, unlike some other courses in Thailand, there are only a few water hazards. The undulating, narrow fairways and well placed bunkers as well as some difficult par-3s combine to make the Emerald Golf Club a great test of golf for players of all abilities. Driving accuracy, as opposed to distance is the key to scoring well on the Emerald Golf course.

The small but charming clubhouse with an open-air restaurant provides a relaxing environment after your round.  While not as famous as some of the other Pattaya golf courses, the excellent conditioning of the course along with beautiful scenery make the Emerald Golf Club a great addition to any Pattaya golf tour.
