FORESSOS GOLF CLUB

Designed by the renowned D. José Gancedo, Foressos Golf Club's 18 holes contain four par 3s, four par 5s, and  ten par 4s. The course, situated only 15 minutes outside downtown Valencia, is set amongst 14 lakes and fertile Spanish countryside containing around 1,500 palms, 100 olives and 100 pines.

The 7th hole, a long par-3, stands out with its green of 80 yards in length and, it's claimed, is the largest in Europe. Other highly unusual features include the 2nd, 14^th and 16^th holes sharing a triple green, in addition to two other double greens - shared by the 1st and 17^th holes and the 3rd and 11^th holes - in the style of many old-style seaside links.

After your round, you can relax in a stunningly restored 12^th century farmhouse and from its terrace enjoy panoramic views over the golf course. Foressos Golf has excellent facilities for practice, with a driving range of over 280 yards long that's equipped with 17 bays, large areas to hit from natural grass, a putting green and a chipping/pitching area replete with three bunkers.
