The island of Nevis neighbours St. Kitts, and is part of the magical Leeward Islands. Nevis' golfing gem is courtesy of the great Robert Trent Jones Junior, who was blessed with a truly remarkable location for his tropical project.
Opened in 1991, the golf course spans the stunning slopes of the Nevis coastline, winding through fantastic groves of palm trees. With the views across the water to St. Kitts and beyond, retaining focus may be the hardest challenge at the Four Seasons, but the younger RTJ has also created an engaging proposition.
Though not particularly long - 6,766 yards - Nevis' finest does represent a decent test of golf. However, the emphasis is on producing a golf course that will be fair and playable for golfers of all standards, while allowing every visitor to enjoy maximum exposure to the monumental Nevis landscape. This is pure Caribbean golf, where nothing but the joys of the course and its surroundings seem to matter.
