Old Course

For Gloria's Old Course, a local Turkish construction team worked in consultation with international experts to realise the design of French architect Michel Gayon. The result is a 6,759 yard gem, whose Bermuda fairways and greens, which surround some 7 lakes, have recently been reworked to improve their condition.

New Course

The New Course is characterised by the four large lakes that it encircles, and its testing tree-lined fairways. Completed in 2005, the course has done much to ease traffic on the Old, and is itself an excellent test of golf, stretching to 6,889 yards from the championship tees. Also designed by Frenchman Gayon, the New Course affords terrific views of the Taurus mountains, and adds another string to Gloria's bow.

Gloria Verde Course

The resort also has a great nine-hole course, called the Gloria Verde. Lying adjacent to the Old Course, the Gloria Verde has been built with two separate sets of tees for each green, to give the feel of a genuine 18-hole layout. The peace and quiet of the short course makes it great for beginners, or just if you fancy a relaxing stroll.

Gloria's Old Course is used for many prestigious tournaments, including recently hosting the Qualifying School for the European Seniors Tour.

Hotel Information

The Gloria Resort covers a large expanse, and within it are two excellent hotels, which differ in character, but are both excellent 5* bases for a golf holiday.

The Gloria Golf Hotel is the resort's main focus, with a total of 516 bedrooms, comprised of a superb blend of standard rooms, suites and villas. Resort guests are also welcome to use the swimming pools, both outdoor and indoor, the well-equipped gym and tennis courts, with the facilities of both hotels available to all visitors (the two complexes are connected by complimentary shuttle service).

The resort town of Belek is also famous for its miles of sublime sandy beaches, which are one of just 17 sites where the Caretta turtles choose to lay their eggs.

Thanks a lot for organising the break . We got back to Gatwick last night ( to minus 4 !), having had a really great time. Enjoyed all 4 rounds, had some rain but no big deal, the hotel was great - everyone was really friendly and they all went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and had a good time. The food was wonderful - I'm sure we've put on a stone each!Thanks again - all the best,
