Happy birthday to yourgolftravel.com and its founder Ross Marshall. The pair celebrated their fifth and 30th birthdays this week (I’ll leave you to work out which birthday belongs to which). Now Yourgolftravel has gone from start-up to a £25m turnover in five years. Which is good (if annoying for those of us who haven’t). What’s more, I understand Ross invested in a racehorse not so long ago, called “yourgolftravel.com” purely to publicise the company. You know what’s coming next. It immediately went and won two races. It’s due to run again tomorrow night at Newbury. I’m off down the bookies.
