Following an extensive and comprehensive redevelopment program that was recently completed at the Lille Golf Club, this centrally located facility now ranks among the best in the local area, and comes highly recommended for any golfing group visiting the fantastic northern city.

The style of the course is very contemporary, in keeping with many of Europe's prestigious tournament venues, with wide fairways and huge expanses of sand. The refurbishment has transformed Lille Metropole into a full length, challenging prospect that will certainly test low handicappers, whilst it remains accessible to the average visitor thanks to a good selection of tee boxes.
Part of the regeneration of the club includes a new clubhouse, which remains under construction; while this detracts slightly from the 19th hole, it has no bearing on what is a truly excellent modern championship course, and one which should certainly be a part of a good Lille golf tour itinerary.
