Designed by Robert Berthet and opened in 1987, this 6390-yard, gently undulating course is not especially long by modern standards but is well protected by large bunkers and natural lakes. The course has been carved out of 250 acres of woodland and the tall pines and majestic oak trees will punish any errant shots from the tees. The trees at L’Odet don’t just reside on the flanks of the fairways. The second hole features towering pines that emerge from a bunker, which is in line with the green, placing an emphasis on accuracy.

For less energetic players there is also a nine hole par 3 course.
