We are very pleased to give you feedback on Domaine de Vaugouard Golf Hotel where we recently stayed during our annual golf holiday to Europe. The Chateau was absolutely lovely – one of the best we’ve stayed in and we have been doing European golf breaks for almost 20 years. When we arrived the receptionists went out of their way to help us and spoke very good English. The restaurant food was something else – we didn’t venture out to eat in the evening as our first meal was so good we didn’t see the point! The chef’s special 3 course menu changed each night and cost E39.50 per person which was tremendous value for money.
The bedroom was large with tall windows overlooking a massive patio and the 18th green. It was equipped with coffee and tea making facilities which is unusual in France. They also provided robes, slippers and a hair drier.
What can we say about the golf course? It was in superb condition; very interesting with tree lined fairways, fast greens and some holes with elevated tees, sloping fairways, streams and ditches.
Overall we can thoroughly recommend the venue and of course Your Golf Travel who continue to excel.

The par-72 layout measures 6,505 yards from the championship tees, and while it may not be the longest course in the area, its natural beauty and immaculate presentation make it a real pleasure to play.
The fairways and greens are perfectly manicured, and are in beautiful contrast to the perfect white sand of the strategically positioned bunkers. This delightful countryside course is perfect for a relaxing rural golf escape.

You could not ask for a more beautiful place to stay than Domaine de Vaugouard, a magnificent 18th century chateau that overlooks the surrounding golf course.
The accommodation comes courtesy of 46 classic, superior and deluxe rooms, which have been tastefully decorated and furnished to retain the original character of the chateau, but have also been modernised with all the necessary modern amenities.
Domaine de Vaugouard has excellent facilities in addition to its on-site golf course, and is a charming destination for a relaxing golf break in the Paris region.
The leisure facilities at Domaine de Vaugouard include both indoor and outdoor tennis courts, an outdoor swimming pool, while the health centre has a well-equipped gym, sauna and billiard room.
Enjoy a light lunch in the Brasserie in preparation for the fine gourmet experience in Les Saules.
There is a pool-side grill, while during the summer months you can dine al fresco on the terrace.
Paris is established as a global culinary capital; among an endless list of restaurants and brasseries, Le Dôme is one of the best - quintessentially Parisian, the Art Deco dining room specialises in fresh seafood. Oysters and sole meunière (sole in butter, lemon and parsley) are firm favourites.
