Accommodation

Le Manoir was originally a family residence, but now offers golfers excellent 3* hospitality courtesy of its 41 bedrooms. The quintessential charms of the traditional house have been retained, but visitors will find rooms that are well equipped with modern amenities and decorated beautifully.

The golf courses are on your doorstep, and while the hotel is pretty quiet, the attractions of Le Touquet are just minutes away, which is exactly why Le Manoir continues to be such a favourite with regular golf holiday visitors to the famous Northern resort town.

On site at Le Manoir is a large heated outdoor swimming pool, while you can also take advantage of the tennis court and snooker room. Le Touquet is not all about golf; local activities include horse-riding and cycling in the beach or forest, and sports like sand-surfing on the famous coastline.

Hotel guests have the option to dine in the renowned Le Manoir restaurant, or the more informal clubhouse grill.

Le Touquet's gastronomic options are outstanding; Perard claims to be the home of fish soup, while Flavio's is one of the town's institutions, where specialities include slow-cooked pig trotters and foie gras au sauternes.

Golfer reviews

Our golf trip to Le Touquet went very well so thanks goes to Your Golf Travel for the fast and efficient organisation. This was my first time through the Eurotunnel and I was impressed by how hassle free it all was. Definitely more convenient than flying, hiring clubs, packing light etc, etc.

We arrived at Le Manoir hotel quite a few hours before our check in time but they were only too happy to let us move in to our rooms immediately. The rooms were clean, neat and tidy; just as one would expect from a top class hotel. Breakfast in France would be hard to ruin, so that was fine, and the meal in the evening was superb.

The golf was fine as the weather helped on that front, but I think that the courses had been busy this summer, especially La Foret, which was looking a little tired. It was a superb layout though and I would imagine throughout the main season, would be well kept. La Mer was in better condition, also with a good lay out, with one particular green in the middle of the course that was so quiet that I could almost hear the grass bending as my ball rolled over it towards the hole...for my fourth birdie of the day! Les Dunes was in the best condition of the three golf courses. It was a course that was quite short in length but made up for this by the narrowness of the fairways and the tall and seemingly very wide pine trees.

All in all the golf break was great and we had an absolute blast. I look forward to repeating our French golf tour again next year.

Firstly I note that I was very happy with the speed with which Your Golf Travel dealt with our requirements, especially re the inclusion of our additional player at very short notice and would not hesitate to make future bookings through them.

We have stayed at The Manoir for a number of consecutive years which I think speak for itself. We find the whole setup very welcoming and friendly and the golf courses a real challenge and not overcrowded. Our only gripe this year was that the greens were not in their usual excellent condition as they had just been slit and top dressed, however we appreciate this work is necessary and it appears that recent very wet conditions (as the U.K.) had delayed this operation this year.

In the past we have had a couple of disappointing dinners at the hotel so normally dine out in the evenings but the meal we had this year was excellent so we may revisit the hotel restaurant again.

All in all we greatly enjoyed our break, even some bad golf at times, and the weather was superb.

All being well it is definitely our intention to revisit next year.
