Golf Ilbarritz is perched on the seafront just a couple of minutes from the centre of Biarritz itself, and is actually a central training and performance complex for the area's golf association. For golf tourists it has a fantastic nine-hole course looking out to sea that makes a fine addition for a Biarritz golf tour, especially on the first or last day of a trip.

The views of the sea and across to the Spanish coastline will be memorable for any visitor to Ilbarritz, whose nine holes have a par of 32 and total around 2,400 yards. Spread across two plateaus with distinctly different altitudes, the course has good variation and enough variation to keep golfers well interested.
While the Biarritz area is packed with some magical championship course, Ilbarritz is a nice complement, offering a relaxing and enjoyable short option for any group taking a golf tour of the magical Atlantic town.
