The layout at Saint Donat was conceived by Robert Trent Jones Junior, one of the preeminent course architects of his generation, and his creation at Saint Donat is both beautiful and challenging. From the tournament tee markers, the course measures more than 6,600 yards, making it long enough to challenge low handicappers without ever being too strenuous for the average visitor.

Probably the 3rd best golf course we played, greens had been verti drained and loads of sand on all greens, it was ok but not great !
