My son and I have just returned from a golf break at The Goodwood Hotel and we would like to thank Your Golf Travel for the recommendation.
We played two rounds on the Park Course as we had booked the Sunday Special golf break package. The Park Course was in great condition and the layout was just right for our ability; it was challenging but we weren’t out of our depth! I have heard the Downs Course is a tougher proposition so I would say that Goodwood is a great golf break destination as many golfers would find the right mix of golf to suit their tastes.
The hotel was good as well and we were particularly impressed by the quality of the food in the Richmond Arms restaurant…simply outstanding and worth the trip just for the food! Everything considered our golf break to Goodwood was top notch and for what we got we thought it was unbelievable value for money.
We cannot speak highly enough of the Goodwood Hotel and the two great golf courses there. The service, rooms and food were excellent. The Park Course was of a very high standard indeed and the Downs Course may just be the best course we have ever played! The hotel’s restaurant and spa areas were perfect. We have rarely stayed at a hotel were the service and attention to detail was of such a high standard. All in all an amazing golf break that we will look to repeat.
