Gosforth is a traditional golf club that is favoured by many golf tour visitors to Newcastle, as it is located just a few minutes from the town centre. It is a rarity to find such a high quality course within city limits.

Having celebrated its centenary in 2006, Gosforth is extremely well established, and the delightful parkland course is packed with character. The Ouse Burn winds its way through the estate, presenting a real danger to visiting golfers, but Gosforth is a course that can really be enjoyed by players of all standards.
Gosforth is mature, well kept and truly enjoyable, which is why it comes highly recommended as part of any Newcastle golf tour.
