Gracehill is widely considered as one of the finest parkland golf courses in Ulster and its proximity to some of the countries more established golfing stars including the likes of Royal Portrush and Portstewart makes it an ideal addition to any golf tour of Northern Ireland.
Nestled in the beautiful parkland near Ballymoney the course is a delightful mixture of parkland and heathland and features water hazards that are more akin to the great stadium courses of the USA. This eclectic mixture of styles offers fantastic variety and ultimately an endlessly enjoyable round of golf.
Many of the fairways are fairly generous and it is fair to say the majority of scoring will take place on and around the greens which are protected by numerous water hazards and strategically placed bunkers. The conditioning of the course is impressive all year round and thanks to multiple tee positions it will provide an enjoyable test for golfers of varying ability.
Until the early nineties the land on which this fantastic course resides was a working farm until the present owner transformed it into a championship golf course. The old estate buildings have been painstakingly renovated and converted into an impressive clubhouse and now golfers can enjoy a delicious meal and a refreshing drink in the Bell Tower Restaurant & Bar.
A fully stocked proshop will ensure visiting golfers can stock up on the essentials before a round or even find the perfect new club to improve their game.
