The Grande Dunes Members Club offers a stunning par 71 golf course designed by PGA Hall of Famer Nick Price and renowned golf course architect Craig Schreiner. This is a classic inland layout with generous fairways and superb putting greens. The quality of the greens is unrivalled thanks to careful maintenance and the use of L93 Bent Grass meaning accurate approach shots can often lead to excellent birdie opportunities. The golf course has been carefully constructed to create a natural feel and special effort was made to preserve the local wetlands and wooded areas. From the tips the course measures a mighty 7,048 yards but this should put off the higher handicappers out there as the course can be reduced to a more manageable 5,000 yards thanks to a great variety of tee positions. The front nine is heavily protected by imposing pine trees while the back nine has a more open, almost links style feel to it meaning 18 holes here is a truly enjoyable and dynamic golfing experience.
