We recently returned from a golf tour of Wales on which we visited some of the best courses in the land including Pyle & Kenfig, the Roman Road at Celtic Manor and the Wales National course at The Vale Resort.
We stayed at the Hilton in Newport which was ideal for what we were looking for. Great food in the Seasons Restaurant and a good place to chill out after a round of golf.
P+K was great; a traditional links which has a very strong back 9 and friendly and welcoming members.
The Roman Road course was fabulous and in very good condition. We were impressed by what we saw at Celtic Manor and are hoping to book our next golf break there to sample the other two courses and the five star hotel.
The Wales National course was very long and a great challenge. It was also in great condition and was a good course on which to sign off on our 2011 Wales golf holiday.
Overall we had an excellent and ultimately tiring golf break! The service from Your Golf Travel was excellent throughout as usual.
