The appeal of the Hoenshuis layout is the superb variety posed by its collection of holes, spanning the gentle undulations of the lower Dutch countryside. Though not particularly long at 6,065 yards, Hoenshuis has enough teeth to give low handicappers something to think about, and is often a favourite with the slightly less advanced golfers.
