HOTEL AGUAMARINA GOLF 4*

Here is some feedback from my recent golf holiday in Tenerife.

We stayed in the Hotel Aguamarina Golf on a 7 night bed and breakfast deal. The hotel is really easy to find and there is a car park beside the hotel. We enjoyed the breakfast every day but maybe it could have done with more members of staff to replenish food that had been sitting out for a while.

Our golf holiday package included four rounds of golf on the following courses:

Golf Del Sur – There are 27 holes on offer here and you are free to choose which holes you play. We played the South followed by the North because the Links was closed for maintenance. The course was quiet and it was in great condition...we felt like we were the only people there, which was nice! A buggy and lunch were included in the package and they even threw in a free beer!

Las Americas – This club and its course were exceptional. The greens and the fairways were perfectly manicured and that certainly added to the experience. I have played this course on previous golf breaks and it is always in great condition. Again lunch and a buggy were included and we enjoyed our meal overlooking the 18th green. This was a very pleasant place to relax with a cold drink except for the pigeons that were insisting on joining the party! The staff were great though, as they chased them away with huge lumps of wood in hand!

Golf Costa Adeje – this wasn’t the easiest place to find so leave yourself extra time to get there before your tee time! Again the condition of the course was great and the club was really nice as well. This course had the added bonus of countless views out to the sea and the lunch was top class. They served a fantastic buffet and we all went for seconds.

There were plenty of restaurants and bars situated close to the hotel so eating out was really convenient and it was great to ablt to sample the local cuisine. We would advise you visit The Harbour Lights Restaurant as the service and the food were second to none!

This trip was our first with Your Golf Travel and I have to say my brother and I were very impressed with the organisation of our visit from the first on-line contact to booking our tee times, everything went as expected and without any hitches. We shall be back to book future golf trips and golf tours with YGT.
