A recent refurbishment of the hotel’s 398 rooms and suites has made the accommodation at the Las Palmeras better than ever. Not bad we had a sea view room so very noisy on the Friday and Saturday night . . It’s definitely not a 4 star hotel !!

Having stayed at this hotel a number of times it was felt that, this time, it had definitely gone down. Reduced choices in restaurant, especially for breakfast where they served only two types of egg, scrambled or boiled, Fruit selection was limited. Rooms were clean and sparse, no tea/coffee facilities. Bathroom was clean, water for showers was difficult to regulate, it was either very hot or cold. Overall, it’s in a good location and reception area is very nice. However, it is in need of some tlc.

Rooms were clean and quiet. Bathroom was large and pool was ok with a bar. View from balcony was onto a carpark and building site! Safe was 11 Euros but gave you peace of mind

Great location, room was basic but had all the essentials, staff were very friendly and breakfast was v good. Swimming pool area was a nice addition, we had no complaints, was exactly what we wanted from a 3* hotel

Comfortable enough for what we needed, just request rooms at the back of the hotel to avoid the noise from the nightclubs close by. Great location as handy for the local bars and restaurants we stayed B&B this time as when we stayed half board last year we were not impressed with the evening meal choice and quality, the breakfasts were ok.

YGT & transfer company excellent. Golf courses very good apart from the greens at Santa Clara. El chapparal very good. Cabopino excellent albeit very very tight from the tees. Las palmeras hotel could have been used for a Benidorm shoot. Apart from that a good tour. Looking to book next year.

Very tired and certainly not a 4 star hotel although it is very well located.The pool area was very rough and we only spent one hour there!!….Food was dreadful although we only had breakfast …..Rooms were also very basic not enough plug sockets and some of our group had problems with the showers and toilets and the TV did not work.

Half board, food was ok/good (for the price) and kept costs down. Location was great, with bars, Taxis and Train to airport all in walking distance. 3 nights, 3 rounds half board for £165pp (pretty good value for money). Summary great break, great course and good value – roll on 2016.Golf: (8.25/10)Cabopino; Great course and views with fast greens, clubhouse with good beer and tapas and views over the ninth hole (8.5/10)El Chaparral; nice course, greens not great, some beautiful holes, clubhouse again good food and beer (7/10)La Cala (Asia) best course of the 3, great set up, bar was good, with views over the course.
