    Golf courses

Although the courses at Indian Canyons share the same magnificent piece of desert landscape, each offers a totally unique test of golf that is a reflection of its time.

    South Course

The South Course was designed by Casey O’Callaghan along with consultant, Amy Alcott, who is an LPGA Hall of Famer. This par 72 championship course stretches to a maximum distance of 6,582 yards which, while testing the longer hitters is still playable for those with less prowess from the tee. Four large expanses of water come into play on six of the 18 holes so accuracy and course management are a must. Longer hitters will be delighted to find no less than five par 5s on their way around the course as these represent good scoring opportunities for those who can reach the greens in 2. The course also features rolling undulations and more than 850 palm trees.

    North Course

The North Course is the longer of the two courses at Indian Canyons measuring some 6,943 yards from the tips. Designed by well known architect, William P. Bellk, this par 72 is a classical desert course that meanders through Palm Springs’ Canyon region. The course is adorned with thousands of palm, olive and other native trees and offers golfers the welcome distraction of breathtaking mountain views. Like the South Course the North features a number of large water hazards, one of which features the Walt Disney fountain which shoots water jets over 100 feet high.
